2 skinless chicken breasts
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt (or less for lower sodium)
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp dried thyme or rosemary (optional for added flavor)
Preparation
Prepare the chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel to ensure they crisp up nicely in the air fryer.
Season the chicken: In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and dried herbs (if using). Rub the olive oil over the chicken breasts, then evenly coat both sides with the spice mixture.
Preheat the air fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes, if necessary.
Cook the chicken: Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the air fryer basket. Cook for 15-18 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the chicken is golden and juicy.
Rest and serve: Let the chicken rest for a few minutes after cooking to allow the juices to redistribute. Slice and serve.
